Government Civil Hospital.

Hong-Kong, 2nd. December, 1898.

sir,

I regret to have to report that Mr. Crow, the

Government Analyst, was brought to the Hospital this morning

at noon by European Police Constable Waters, No. 101, in a Police

stretcher drunk.

It appears that he was picked up in the Queen t

Road by an Indian Constable and taken to the Central Police

Station.

I have communicated with the Captain Supt.of

Police and requested that he might not be charged as I am re-

porting the facts to the Government.
